SKIP Lancaster
Based in Lancaster University we are one of the newer branches to the SKIP family, having recently achieved full branch status in 2018.
Branch History:
We have been working in Sri Lanka with Child Action Lanka collecting data over the past 2 years on health inequalities within their centres. This summer we hope to trial out our interventions we have designed that we think will really make a difference. Child Action Lanka have branches all over Sri Lanka and we are currently focusing our interventions in the Kandy and Batticaloa centres. However, we have plans to reach other centres in Nuwara Eliya, Kelaniya, Killinochchi, Akkarayan and Galle once we have got our logistical hats on!

We hold fundraising events throughout the year such as raffles, bake sales, school visits and balls. Keep an eye on our social media pages to find out what is going on next and how you can get involved, whether as a volunteer or member of the committee.
