SKIP Barts
SKIP Barts is located at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London.
About the branch:
SKIP Barts were established in 2007 with their first project teaching children about nutrition and sanitation in Rajasthan, India until 2012. Their second project was based in Wardha, India in 2015 teaching child nutrition and sexual health for adolescent girls and mothers. However, new legislation required us to find a new location. Our project in Nagpur, India piloted in 2017 teaching sexual health for adolescent girls, boys and mothers and hygiene for primary school children. We are currently looking for a new Collaborating Organisation in India, to work alongside running future projects.
Get involved:
Throughout the year we hold fundraising events such as bake sales, balls and bucket collections.
